Ourika Valley – Berber Country and culture discovery – walking
The Ourika Valley is mainly populated by Berbers and greatfull engulfed in the Moroccan High Atlas. Despite its proximity to Marrakech, it is still considered a relatively unspoilt valley. Its visit can combine the discovery of a spectacular nature and a tradtional mountain lifestyle. All along the road, you discover Berber villages in the mountain melted. You can take the opportunity to sample the tasty Tajines cooked on charcoal for hours !
A walking excursion in company of our good Berber friend and guide Hassan in the Ourika Valley, through the large weekly souk, visit the «Bio-Aromatique Garden » and the Berber village of Tnine, after past a salt mine, the walk will ending up for the Berber lunch at Aicha’s lovely traditional house, where you will experience her hospitality and savour some of her best homemade Berber recipes.

Nous nous sommes tout de suite entendu avec Sabir qui nous a mis à l’aise. La visite dans les Cascades de l’Ourika et les villages Berbères étaient intéressantes. Merci à lui ainsi qu’à Hameau pour leur convivialité.
